Introducing the Reckless Party — our naughtiest Birthday Bikini for 2026, an exclusive limited-edition drop in the very last of our signature Sheer White Vision with super sheer hot mesh panels.

Crafted in a sheer vision base with papaya hot mesh, this collection is elevated with our exclusive papaya leopard print trims, creating a bold clash of soft neutrals and high-voltage colour.

The fabric delivers a translucent, second-skin effect - lightweight, ultra-stretch, and designed to intensify when wet.

This is swimwear that doesn't behave: playful, untamed, and unapologetically provocative - made for the party that never cools down.

The Designer's Notes:

When I design for birthday, I start with a plan - a plot, an idea. Then I build it out, layer on concept after concept, pull together fabrics, combinations, and silhouettes. It’s always fabulous. I present it, everyone says yes, and I get the whole thing moving.

And then… everything goes wrong.

Year after year, I end up feeling like I’ve designed about 12 birthday collections by the time the final drop finally goes live. I’ve been working on this project for longer than I care to admit -though I won’t say exactly how long, because that might date me.

Still, I’ve always loved it. The process of pulling together fabrics, building worlds, and making birthday bigger, bolder, and better every year is something I genuinely live for.

And yes, I'm already thinking about NEXT year.

Birthday this year is built in three directions:

First, a Matt Lycra bikini - made for everyday wear, for everybody. It includes our ultimate micro style, the 457, which is the smallest bottom we do. For Birthday only, it’s been made with a tri-back — because you absolutely should have that collector’s moment, right?

Then there’s Sheer Vision - this year in an incredible shade of purple. It’s not the sheerest it could be, because that’s where Reckless comes in. So, this year, this colour sits in the middle - revealing, but not everything. For those who want to show it, but teasingly still hold something back.

And then there’s Reckless.

In my opinion, there are no styles that speak to who Microminimus is more than the Reckless collection. I quite literally started this whole journey with Microminimus and a Reckless range - so it feels only right that it now has its place in Birthday.

This year, we’ve introduced Reckless to our Birthday Party in white Sheer Vision and hot mesh - and it doesn’t get much sheerer than this.

The fact is, there are about five metres of white Sheer Vision left at the factory. I might even wrap it up and give it to myself for Christmas, because that’s it - there is none left.

Until I find a new mill that can manufacture Sheer Vision to the standard I’m happy with, this is likely the last time you’ll see this white fabrication for a long time.

So this isn’t just a birthday drop - it’s the end of an era, as many birthdays are!
