We’d love to get to know you better. Could you please introduce yourself and share a bit about yourself?
"My name is Amanda, I’m a 95’ kid and I was born within the forests of the tropical paradise that is Costa Rica. I have wanted to be an artist since I have memory, and now I do many disciplines, from academic studies on dance to even making digital content, which is something I LOVE creating by myself (as photographer, model, lighting designer, etc) and I have only empirical knowledge about."
Can you give us a brief background on what drew you into the world of Microminimus and how did you become a Microminimus contributor?
"I was getting ready for a photo shoot with some other women on a regular day, and this one gave me this TINY THONG, said, “I think this would look great on you” and I was honestly shocked, I hadn’t seen a bikini bottom so small, and when I put it on…. OMG!!! it fitted me so perfectly, like no other bottom before!
“After that day I started saving up until I bought my first piece, and when I got the package, the postcard said that there was a community and I was so curious.”
“Since I love making pics I made some and uploaded them to the bikini contest, and to my surprise, I WON! I got such a heartwarming welcome from the community I instantly fell in love with this place’s energy and continued until today!"
How has this community transformed your perception of beauty, body confidence, and sensuality?
“Wao this is such an important question! Very very honestly, it surprised me in a very positive way to see all kinds of women posting freely in here! It was shocking at first but the MM contributors have definitely helped me fight mostly against my ageist beliefs, and the women that surprised me at first are now an example of confidence and self-love for me, for the woman I want to continue being, and for how I want to inspire others.”

"Definitely the sling and also the light blue short dress (Bahama Club)! It’s the best of both worlds hahaha the sexiest and the comfiest!"
What’s one thing your subscribers might not know about you? (that you can share with us)
"Context: My first solo on stage was when I was six years old! I ice skated to “only time” by Enya. In the video you can see me enjoying the spotlight so much, absorbing all the energy from the crowd and just loving the moment, passionate, but still calm!
And having shared that, what I’d like to really share is that I have found out over time that liking attention or wanting to feel sexy isn’t bad, in fact, when we become the version of ourselves our personality shines through.
In high school, people taught me that being a woman seeking attention was bad, but today I have detached myself from those taboos and I can see it in a healthy way.
Being here has opened my heart to new possibilities of accepting, embracing and loving who I am. Instead of making myself little to fit a standard, I look for the standard that fits ME."
What are your favorite parts of sharing photos with the Microminimus bikini community?
"My heart is so warm when I read comments or messages of people telling me what they like about my galleries! It’s sweet to see that what I make with love and passion translates to a point where people want to take time and write a message, even if it’s short or simple."
What do you think we can improve in the community?
"I think talking about important topics (sensuality, real feminism, racism, ageism, fat phobia, healthy/unhealthy habits, consent/respect) in a relevant way to us and really opening the conversation up, also including accurate and sensible information to analyze how those impact our lives and how we can help others broaden their perspective even outside of the community and make the world a more conscious, sensible and thoughtful place."

"I’ll keep insisting, the people that are in here are what makes it so deeply special. I have never been on a platform where people’s comments are all so respectful and beautifully written. Also, I LOVE seeing the beautiful diversity of women being themselves."
